Mi experiencia en PiU supuso una completa “inmersión” en el mantenimiento de una existencia ecológica y autosuficiente, dentro de un esquema basado en la comunidad donde cada uno apoya su propio deseo. Cada individuo aquí es un empresario, con un corazón para la naturaleza.
I had the pleasure of empathizing during the early positioning phase, where the foundation for the further development of the project was being considered. A common thread was outlined, with enough remaining room for organic development. To figure out their mission, I had to understand the principles of permaculture and gain an understanding of why knowledge transfer regarding these topics is necessary. To obtain the vision I now have, many meetings and brain storms took place. Where the future plan was in continuous development at the time, we now have three different versions written down.
La filosofía de Piu dice: “En Piu, hacemos las cosas de forma diferente. Con un enfoque innovador y creativo, experimentamos en busca de soluciones alternativas a viejos problemas. Estos experimentos benefician a nuestra tierra, a los bosques, a nuestra forma de comer, a nuestra vivienda, a nuestros residuos y a las herramientas que utilizamos. Nuestro objetivo es crear una economía modular circular. Adoptamos las nuevas técnicas y tecnologías agrícolas, que nos permiten ser más productivos y eficientes”.

It is through the continuous input of the community that new ideas emerge, as well as new opportunities present themselves. This is why they continue to open their home to anyone who wants to be part of our life project, in order to continually move forward and become a crucial point in the network of sustainable innovation. The already many volunteers and woofers we were able to receive offered hands in helping to realize the permaculture principles and cultivate the land. Workers of the digitized world, who want to escape the current bourgeois rat race and settle down in quiet areas, enjoy a desk a funky cabin here. The kids can do their online classes and enjoy nature afterwards. Our network of like-minded people, allows us to gather people to organize small events with educational wokshops. This in combination with the ecotourist and stay-the-nighters who, by reimbursing their stay in the form of necessary products or materials, contribute directly to the project.
Los profesores de yoga imparten clases maravillosas, a cambio de la experiencia del fin de semana. Fotógrafos que encuentran su alegría en fotografiar el paisaje, perfecto para el portafolio. Periodistas y blogueros deslizan sus piernas bajo la mesa para vivir una experiencia gastronómica y luego escriben un sabroso artículo sobre ella.
