Manchester: Out of Europe, but still in the world

For that reason, why not start talking in English?

A fact you probably did not know about Manchester is that the symbol of the city is a working bee. The bee represents the industrial history and symbolises the hard work and working together, which is an interesting fact for students wanting to learn.

Students from every part of the world come to our school to improve their level of English. The classes they follow are not the only way to learn. Making international friends, joining events and living in a multicultural environment are excellent opportunities to make progress as well.

My internship combines all of these benefits, I can improve my own level of English and I have gained experience I will use for the rest of my life.

The main task during my internship is to keep every student satisfied during their stay in our school. I work with people from different cultures, with different ages and different levels of English, so my job requires flexibility, which makes it very interesting. It pleases me when I can help the students have the best experience possible in our school.

Every Monday, I need to welcome the new students and to give them a great first impression. After that, I am available at the reception to answer any questions. During my week, it is my responsibility to analyse the evaluations of the students and to try to solve the problems they might have. There are also several events and trips to join if you want to have the chance to speak with the students and to visit other parts of the country.

While doing this internship, you will discover the operations of a company, the soul of the city and you will become aware of how much you will learn every day.

Convinced?

Come to Manchester and bee happy.
