At Top Vakantie you will surely enjoy your internship. You will never get tired of your work because every day you will have something else to do. That’s the reason why I have chosen for Top Vakantie because I don’t like to do always the same thing.
At Top Vakantie I had two very important tasks to do: help to work out the summer program and give new ideas to organise different activities for the youth. But I also had to do a lot of general administrative tasks, which made my day very interesting. Here are some of my tasks:
- make a brochure and a flyer;
- work with AEP Globe where I had to do the bookings and update new info;
- almost every day talk on the phone;
- update the organigram on the website with new photo’s and new info;
- sort the invoices;
- reserve a youth hostel;
- search volunteers for a summer camp;
- …
Top Vakantie biedt jou de mogelijkheid om jouw verschillende competenties te laten groeien. Door verschillende taken uit te voeren, ontdekte ik zaken die ik wel graag doe maar nog nooit eerder gedaan had. Top Vakantie heeft echt een top personeel dat altijd klaarstond om mij te helpen wanneer ik vragen had.
Zoals je op de foto ziet, is Top Vakantie geen reisbureau. De klanten komen dus niet naar het kantoor om te boeken. Persoonlijk had ik enkel contact met mijn collega’s maar ik had wel dagelijks contact met de vrijwilligers van Top Vakantie via telefoon, e-mail of Facebook.
So I am very happy that I have done my internship at Top Vakantie because it was a very important experience for me.
