I\u2019m currently in the South of France, more specific in Cap d\u2019Agde. Cap d\u2019Agde or for the Frenchman \u201cle Cap\u201d is well known for the nudist beaches.  My  internship takes place in the residence Odalys Saint-Loup as an assistant  director. I have already covered more than 13 weeks of internship, and I have  never experienced such an extraordinary job.  <\/strong><\/em>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commen\u00e7ant mon stage le 18 mars, je suis partie en voiture de la Belgique le 13 mars \u00e0 5 h du matin et je suis arriv\u00e9e vers 17 h le m\u00eame jour \u00e0 la r\u00e9sidence Odalys Saint-Loup. La r\u00e9ception de la r\u00e9sidence \u00e9tait encore ferm\u00e9e le mercredi \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode. Mais Marieke, la responsable d\u2019h\u00e9bergement bien sympathique, m\u2019a tr\u00e8s bien accueilli et m\u2019a imm\u00e9diatement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 mes colocataires. Etant donn\u00e9e que j’avais encore quelques jours, j\u2019ai pu prendre mes rep\u00e8res dans la r\u00e9gion. Il faut dire que c\u2019est une r\u00e9gion vraiment magnifique. Le Cap d\u2019Agde est bien connu pour son magnifique port rempli de commerces, de restaurants et de bars. Les activit\u00e9s ne manquent pas au Cap. On peut y visiter le volcan Mont Saint-Loup (\u00e9teint depuis quelques milliers d\u2019ann\u00e9es), la Grande Conques connu pour sa plage noire et ces falaises volcanique, faire un tour au camp naturiste (pour 8 euros par jour), sortir le soir dans les plus grandes boites de nuit de France, faire les magasins, boire un verre au port, faire un tour sur la plus grande Grande Roue d\u2019Europe ou encore visiter les villes aux alentour comme S\u00e8te, Montpellier ou P\u00e9zenas qui \u00e9tait pour moi un vrai coup de c\u0153ur.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an assistant director or receptionist, we perform various tasks. We welcome the customers and help them with all kinds of problems. We answer the phone, respond to emails and handle customers complains. We also arrange bookings for every client. Every morning we arrange the arrivals and departures of the guests that have arrived or left before or after the opening hours of the reception and print the weather for the customers. There are also departures every day. Once the customer has left the apartment, they must bring the key(s) to the reception. The apartment will be checked with them after. Once this is done, the customer may collect his deposit at the reception. During the week, we make the folders for the arrivals on Saturday. Every customer that stays a full week or more, receives a folder with all the necessary information regarding the reception and the residence.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant de pouvoir effectu\u00e9 un stage dans ce secteur. Car non seulement les stagiaires effectuent tout le boulot \u00e0 la r\u00e9ception, mais par moment nous effectuons aussi des taches plus approfondies pour la directrice. Il est vraiment int\u00e9ressant de voir comment une r\u00e9sidence fonctionne chaque jour.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En tout cas, je suis vraiment contente de pouvoir effectu\u00e9 un stage dans ce domaine. J\u2019appr\u00e9cie beaucoup mon boulot et l\u2019\u00e9quipe est vraiment au top!  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
