Dat is ze, de slogan van het bedrijf waar ik mijn stage doe. In dit blogbericht zal ik jullie vertellen hoe een dag als stagiaire bij Belgian Air Travel te Etterbeek er uit ziet en uit wat mijn takenpakket allemaal bestaat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The place\nwhere I do my internship is Belgian Air Travel, it is a travel agency that\nfocuses primarily on incentive travel. Including me, there are 7 people working\nin this office. 5 People are spread over 2 main departments, ticketing and the\ngroup & incentive managers. Then we also have the general manager and the\naccountant. My tasks are within the group and incentive department. Most\ncontact with the customer is therefor by telephone or by e-mail. I arrive at\nthe office around 8.30 AM, and my workday ends at 5.30 PM.  except on Friday, then we stop an hour\nearlier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

De ene dag is zeker de\nandere niet, nu ik stilaan op het einde van mijn stage kom begin ik dit\nduidelijk op te merken. Zo werd ik gedurende de eerste weken al direct\nzelfstandig aan het werk gezet en was ik constant bezig met bijvoorbeeld\nfacturen maken, reisprogramma\u2019s maken of aanpassen, hotelkamers boeken,\naanvragen doen bij restaurants en hotels, \u2026 De dagen vlogen toen echt voorbij.\nHet was toen een drukke periode voor het reiskantoor dus ik kon altijd wel\nergens bijspringen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ook vond ik het op dat\nmoment een heel leerrijke stage, omdat ik verschillende dingen die we reeds\nleerden op school, eindelijk eens kon omzetten naar de praktijk. Ik kreeg zelf\nde kans om met verschillende programma\u2019s te werken en om eens mee te kijken op\nverschillende diensten zodat ik kon zien hoe hun werkdag er uit ziet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I\u2019m in\nthe last week of my internship and I honestly can\u2019t wait till it\u2019s over. Don\u2019t\nget me wrong, I remain convinced that this internship was an educational\nexperience. But during the last three weeks, it was no longer busy. This means\nthere wasn\u2019t a lot of work to do. There were days where I had nothing to do, so\nI filled these days with working for school, chatting with my colleague and\nlooking at the clock every five minutes. This summer, I will do a three-week\nvacation job here. I hope there will be some work by then, but it will be low\nseason in the office. So, I\u2019m very curious to see what will happen\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
