Bien plus que de l’organisation d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you’re looking for an internship that will fully immerse you in the organization of various events, Brussels Major Events is the place for you! This internship gives you a real backstage pass to see how wildly different events come to life and how each one has its own planning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Partnership Officer, I work closely with the Partnership Coordinator in the exploitation department. It gives me a front-row seat to the kinds of partnerships each event can attract, and let\u2019s be honest, the money they can bring in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since BME depends on the City of Brussels, we don\u2019t always have total freedom. The challenge? Making events happen, even when the budget decides to play hard to get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De l\u2019evenementiel, mais pas que<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

J\u2019ai la chance de participer \u00e0 l\u2019organisation du BXL TOUR 2025 ainsi que de Quai d\u2019\u00c9t\u00e9, un tout nouvel \u00e9v\u00e9nement sur le Quai des P\u00e9niches, en face de Tour & Taxis. Mais avant de vous parler de ces projets, je tiens \u00e0 partager quelques exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues au sein de BME.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout d\u2019abord, c\u2019est un cadre de travail exceptionnel, o\u00f9 l\u2019on valorise vraiment l\u2019esprit d\u2019\u00e9quipe et la bonne ambiance. J\u2019ai particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs team buildings et repas entre coll\u00e8gues, notamment une visite \u00e0 la chocolaterie Pierre Marcolini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais ce n\u2019est pas que du fun : le professionnalisme est aussi au c\u0153ur de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience. J\u2019ai m\u00eame eu l\u2019occasion de suivre une formation incendie, je suis d\u00e9sormais capable de manier un extincteur comme une pro !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our events<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

BME organizes a wide variety of events. I\u2019ve attended Cabaret Mademoiselle, a fabulous show at City Hall during Pride Week. They even saved me a seat right in the middle, front row!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also Vaux-Hall, in Brussels\u2019 Royal Park, with a different program every evening until mid-July. I\u2019ve already had the chance to go there several times with my colleagues, perfect for bonding in a chill atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BXL TOUR 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ce week-end a eu lieu le BXL TOUR : une course cycliste de 40 km \u00e0 travers Bruxelles. L\u2019organisation n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 de tout repos !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je me suis principalement occup\u00e9e des partenaires : conventions, besoins, feuille de route\u2026 et m\u00eame quelques photos pour le merch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais c\u2019est sur le terrain que tout prend vie : j\u2019ai eu la chance de g\u00e9rer la remise des prix, de pr\u00e9parer les sacs des gagnants, d\u2019accueillir le cycliste Johan Museeuw, ambassadeur 2025, et de lui faire signer les troph\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u2019ai aussi eu l\u2019honneur d\u2019accompagner nos invit\u00e9s d\u2019honneurs sur sc\u00e8ne lors de la remise des prix, comme l\u2019\u00e9chevine des Sports Florence Frelinx ou encore le champion de paracyclisme Maxime Hordies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une responsabilit\u00e9 que j\u2019ai prise tr\u00e8s \u00e0 c\u0153ur !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quai d’Et\u00e9 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another event I\u2019m working on is Quai d’\u00c9t\u00e9. This 11-day event (July 3\u201313) will feature sports on the quay and boat tours with live DJ sets on the canal, a different one each day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, I got to explore the programming department, handling contracts, logistics, ticketing, and operator needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BME puts a lot of trust in me and gives me the opportunity to take on new tasks and expand my responsibilities. I\u2019m incredibly lucky to be able to continue this experience with them through a student job, which means I\u2019ll get to see Quai d\u2019\u00c9t\u00e9 come to life and bring all these months of work to reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
