Since March 4, 2019, I have been doing an internship at the Incentive department at De Buck Travel. I chose this internship mainly because my interest lies in this sector, but also because some teachers were very enthusiastic about this company. Below I give you a glimpse into my life as an intern at De Buck Travel. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vandaag\nstart ik al aan week dertien van deze stage, wat vliegt de tijd voorbij! Nog\nmaar vier weken te gaan en de stage zit er al op, althans toch wat het school\ngedeelte betreft. Ze hebben namelijk gevraagd of ik hier nog een tijdje zou\nwillen blijven voor vakantiewerk. Daar moest ik natuurlijk niet lang over\nnadenken!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do an internship in the incentive department, which means that we plan and organize trips for companies. At the start of the internship, my tasks consisted mainly of small tasks with which I could help my colleagues, such as making various signs, luggage labels, etc. Now that the internship is more advanced, I have already been given some more responsibilities. For example, I am allowed to help with presentations and quotations for clients. Or I help with finding hotels, activities, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het merendeel van de tijd loop ik stage op de Incentive afdeling, maar regelmatig spring ik bij op de afdeling Cruise. De Buck Travel organiseert excursies voor cruise passagiers wanneer zij in Belgi\u00eb aanmeren. Mijn werk bestaat dan uit het materiaal klaarzetten voor die dag. Soms kan je mij ook terugvinden in de haven van Zeebrugge of Antwerpen, hier begeleid ik dan de passagiers zodat ze op de juiste tourbus zitten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve learned a lot here. Mainly\nsubstantive knowledge of destinations because I do a lot of research about\nthem. But also my computer knowledge has improved. I constantly work with\nMicrosoft Office, but also with specialized design programs. It is very nice to\nlearn more about this every time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik zou\ndeze stageplaats zeker aanbevelen omdat het een heel gevarieerde stage is. Ook\nkom je terecht in een klein, maar zeer hecht en enthousiast team.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
