My name is Claudia and I am 24 years old, born and living in Brussels. I am currently in the final year of my bachelor’s degree in Management in Tourism and Recreation. In order to validate my year and obtain my degree, I had to do a 16-week internship. A total and real immersion in the working world. Finally!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moi, c’est le secteur MICE-Industry qui me tentait le plus. Gr\u00e2ce aux cours de Meeting Industry que l’on nous enseigne en derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, je savais que je voulais emprunter ce chemin l\u00e0 et voir ce que ce secteur avait \u00e0 m’offrir. Et quelle aventure ! Si vous aimez apprendre continuellement, que vous d\u00e9bordez de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, que vous aimez les challenges et brainstormer pour d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux projets… alors ce secteur est fait pour vous. C’est un monde qui \u00e9volue continuellement et ne fini pas de nous surprendre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Junior Events Coordinator. This is the title of the job I have been given at the company where I am doing my internship. Firstly, and what I liked most, I am in charge of the company’s social networks. I’m mainly in charge of Instagram. I publish weekly posts and stories related to our sector and the company where I work. Then I help to create all kinds of teambuildings. I also take care of the needs of the clients and put together a tailor-made program for them. When the opportunity occurs, I go to sites inspection and participate in events (best part of the job for sure!). A good knowledge of languages (Dutch, French and English) is a great asset. You also need to be familiar with Belgium and what the country has to offer to its visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je remercierai jamais assez l’\u00e9quipe de @dmire d’avoir pris le temps de m’enseigner un maximum de choses en seulement quatre mois. Je les admire de garder la t\u00eate haute malgr\u00e9 la crise sanitaire qui perdure encore et toujours. Passer des bancs d’un auditoire \u00e0 un bureau dans une entreprise est une \u00e9tape stressante mais excitante dans la vie d’une \u00e9tudiante. N’ayez pas peur, tout se passera bien et vous en ressortirez grandi et pr\u00eat \u00e0 affronter la suite de votre parcours professionnel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
