Mysterious artist Banksy has revealed new graffiti, but unlike most of his artwork it cannot be found on the street. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the artist has been forced to work from home, so this time his artwork can be found \u2026 in his own bathroom. (Independent, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Banksy showed off pictures of the artwork on his Instagram page. He covered his walls in his famous rat drawings. \u201cMy wife hates it when I work from home\u201d, wrote the artist, alongside a series of five photos that shows the rodents squirting toothpaste, hanging from the bathroom light and urinating in the toilet. (Independent, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rats were previously used by the artist to make social commentary. He started his career by stencilling rodents across England with phrases such as \u201cBecause I\u2019m Worthless\u201d and \u201cOur Time Will Come\u201d. The artist\u2019s rats have been interpreted as a symbol for the idea that while efforts are constantly made to remove graffiti from walls, it continues to reappear – just like the rodents. (Independent, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
